For all that I have tried to reach and never touched, never scarred.
Your eyes still burned.
Your skin
Wrinkled.
Soul distended.
Inside out.
Reprehended.
For once
time has revealed
offered you…
20–20.
An awareness
a rude awakening…
a crystal clear vision of
the dirt
Under your finger nails.
Aware
that
